the harmattan within raged

As a child, sitting around the kitchen table, hearing my father speak of injustice in Selma, Alabama and his march alongside Martin Luther King, Jr., I learned of a world outside my home—a world playing host to poverty, racism, and conflict, but also to people who fight for development, equality, and peace.

Shaped by volunteering in Cameroon, conflict theory, and World Bank work, I hope my thoughts will provide a provocative and informative lens to readers.

Global dialogue is essential.
